Strange video.. A bomb planted under Netanyahu's table suddenly explodes!
Amid threats by Iranian officials to respond to the killing of Rezi Mousavi, an important adviser in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, following an Israeli air strike on the outskirts of the Syrian capital Damascus, on Monday, an indirect Iranian "threat"surfaced.
Iran's semi-official Mehr news agency broadcast a video simulating a meeting of the Israeli mini-government, attended by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who appeared sitting at a table, apparently flanked by military commanders.
A bomb appeared to have been planted under the table where Netanyahu was sitting.
While a title or caption was put to the video stating that "Azrael is waiting for Netanyahu after comrade Qasem Soleimani was killed in Syria," in an indirect threat or propaganda to play on the nerves of Israelis.
"You'll pay the price."
The Iranian ambassador to Damascus, Hossein Akbari, told Iranian state television yesterday that Mousavi, who was listed at the embassy as a diplomat, was killed by Israeli missiles after returning home from work.
While the Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi, considered that his assassination shows the "weakness of Israel". "This action shows the helplessness and weakness of the Zionist regime in the region, and it will definitely pay the price,"he said.
In turn, the IRGC stressed in a statement that Israel will pay for the murder of Mousavi, who held the rank of Brigadier General in the guard.
Also, foreign ministry spokesman Nasser kanaani explained that his country "reserves the right to take the necessary measures to respond to this action at the appropriate time and place".
Israel has been waging attacks against what it describes as Iranian-linked targets in Syria for years, where Tehran's influence has grown since it backed Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the war that erupted in 2011.
Over the past few years, Tehran has also accused the Israeli Mossad of carrying out assassinations on its territory, including the murder of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, one of its top nuclear scientists, in November 2020, as well as Colonel of the Revolutionary Guards Hussein Sayyad Khodai in May 2022, as well as a number of members of the Revolutionary Guards in Syria.
And every time I promised a harsh response, but those responses have not yet come, according to a number of observers, as important as these assassinations, especially after the assassination of the commander of the Quds Force in the Revolutionary Guards, Qasem Soleimani, in early January 2020, as the response was limited to hitting an American military base in Iraq.
