Thousands of boats are heading towards the shores of Gaza now
The Turkish newspaper "Turkey" reported that a fleet, composed of those "rejecting the genocide carried out by Israel," consisting of a thousand boats, including 313 from Russia, plans to head to the occupation state with about 4,500 people on board. According to the newspaper, around a thousand boats, mostly from Western countries, will sail to the shores of Gaza, telling Israel to stop. Volkan Okçu, who organized the Turkish part of the operation, stated in press remarks: "We will not give Israel a winning card. There will not be a single participant from Arab countries in the event," noting that "the largest number of participants in this event is from Russia with 313 boats, while the Spanish come second with 104 boats. Twelve boat owners from Turkey will participate."
He continued, saying: "We hope this number increases. We will move forward by strictly adhering to international rules and not giving any pretext to Israel. We will first stop in Northern Cyprus to provide the necessary supplies. Our destination after Cyprus will be the Israeli port of Ashdod," adding:
"This is a reaction and civil disobedience against the inhumane massacre committed by Israel." Around one thousand boats from various countries worldwide will gather in Turkey tomorrow, Wednesday, November 22, with the common goal of being "against the ongoing genocide carried out by Israel in Gaza."
