On Wednesday, the Israeli army continued its attacks in various cities of the West Bank, where it fired live bullets at Palestinians and stabbed and kicked wounded while they were being treated, hours after it carried out an air strike that led to the death of 6 martyrs in Tulkarem.
The correspondent of Al Jazeera reported that 3 people were injured by Israeli occupation bullets on Wednesday in the Dheisheh camp in the city of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.
A Palestinian doctor said Wednesday that Israeli soldiers stabbed and beat wounded people in the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem, posing a threat to their lives.
The head of the doctors of Tulkarm governorate, Radwan bleibla, added that the Israeli army stopped Palestinian ambulances with wounded inside from Nur Shams camp and assaulted them.
He added that one of the injured was stabbed in the neck by one of the soldiers inside the ambulance, which posed a threat to his life.
He pointed out that the injured man had suffered several wounds as a result of an Israeli shelling in Masirah and his health situation is serious, adding that his stabbing aggravated his situation.
He pointed out that two others were removed from ambulances and were insulted, kicked and beaten with rifle butts on their places of injury.
He described the incident as a flagrant violation of humanitarian law, calling for the intervention of international bodies to punish and hold Israel accountable.
311 martyrs
Earlier, 6 Palestinians were martyred and 3 were injured in an Israeli shelling of the Nur Shams camp near Tulkarm.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of martyrs in the West Bank has increased to 311 since the seventh of last October.
Since the outbreak of the devastating war on the Gaza Strip on the seventh of last October, the Israeli army has intensified its military operations in the West Bank and increased the frequency of incursions and raids on towns and camps, leaving dozens of victims and hundreds of detainees.
