Amid warnings from some experts of problems that artificial intelligence programs may face, which over the past year have registered an amazing development, Tesla's robot blew up a strange surprise.

One of the company's engineers was attacked during a malfunction at the company's "Giga Texas" plant near Austin in the United States.

Witnesses from the company revealed the state of horror experienced by their fellow employee during an attack by a robot designed to pick up and transport newly cast aluminum car parts.

He planted his claws in his back and arm

The robot pinned the man, who was then preparing a program for two Tesla robots nearby, before plunging its metal claws into the worker's back and arm, leaving a stream of blood along the factory floor.

While the injury report, which Tesla must submit to the authorities by law to maintain profitable tax breaks in Texas, claimed that the engineer did not need time off from work.

But a lawyer representing Tesla contract workers in "giga Texas" said she believes, based on her conversations with workers there, that the number of injuries sustained at the plant has not been adequately reported.

Growing fears

The incident that left the victim with an open wound on his left hand was revealed in the 2021 injury report submitted to Travis County and federal regulators, which was reviewed by, according to the newspaper "Daily Mail".

While no other robot-related injuries were reported to regulators by Tesla at the Texas plant in 2021 or 2022, the incident comes amid years of growing concerns about the dangers of robotic robots in the workplace.

Reports of increased injuries due to robots in Amazon's shipping centers or in self-driving cars, among others, have led some to question the rapid integration of the new technology.
