The spokesman of the Qassam Brigades, "Abu Obaida", spoke in his speech on Thursday about many points, in which he did not focus much on the narrative of the outcome of the operations against the occupation forces, stressing at the same time the resistance's refusal to reach any deal to exchange prisoners without a complete cessation of aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Abu Obaida's speech, which was read out in a "calm" tone, highlighted the speech addressed to the people of the Gaza Strip, and thanked them for their patience in the face of the aggression that left more than 21 thousand martyrs, and displaced most of the residents of the Strip from their homes.
Addressing the people of Gaza, Abu Obaida said, "We feel the extent of the pain, suffering, injustice and barbarism that our people face in front of the world, this official world divided between an unjust criminal and a helpless spectator as he watches a cowardly force that pours its anger and the accumulations of its failure on the innocent and the safe.
Reassuring the residents of the Gaza Strip that the resistance is fine, he said that the documented scenes, which are broadcast daily through the media, are only "the tip of the iceberg of all operations on the ground".
Addressing the Palestinian people, he added,"We have been fighting for decades to reach the flood of Al-Aqsa for the sake of our people, our land, our holy sites and our villages amid the official and abhorrent failure of regimes and an international community ruled by the law of the jungle and controlled by the Zionists of the White House.
"Blow of the century"
The spokesman for the al-Qassam Brigades described the Al-Aqsa flood operation on the seventh of last October as the" blow of the century " for the Israeli occupation.
Abu Obaida said that this battle put the Israeli occupation on the path of demise and collapse, adding that the "flood of Al-Aqsa" will remain engraved in the memory of the Palestinian people and the world as a milestone in the history of the conflict with the Israeli occupation.
He pointed out that the ongoing aggression since 83 is an Israeli attempt to change "this enormous impact in the form of the breaking of the occupation and its criminal Army".
"We have never been students of war and destruction, and the Zionists of the West and the East were the first to recognize the rights of our people and end the occupation, but they chose to buy time in favor of the criminal occupation to eliminate our people and liquidate our cause," he added, stressing that we are a people with a right, a cause, a message and resistance.
"All the peoples of the occupied land were robbed of their freedom by blood, pieces and fighting, and for us in Vietnam, Afghanistan, South Africa, Iraq, Algeria, Lebanon and others is the best witness and proof,"he said.
