Journalist brian_pfail has received a temporary suspension on Twitter X for posting the link to his article exploring & commentating upon whether anti-zíonism is the same as antisemitism, an equivalency widely disputed & politically controversial--even amongst Jews themselves!
What this looks like is yet more favoritism towards a politically-privileged class. And it's absolutely chilling towards citizen journalism & free speech.
Is X moving to fully embrace the IHRA definition of antisemitism, which classifies virtually any criticism of Israel or zíonism (a political philosophy) as "antisemitic?"
Is this what you want your platform to become, elonmusk--a platform where independent content creation goes to die? Where users are suspended even when no TOS have been broken?
